Own unit of CNRS, ICMCB is not less strongly attached to the site policy which includes the University of Bordeaux (31 ICMCB members are academic staff) and Polytechnic Institute of Bordeaux (IPB, 8 lecturers) that hosts the group 2 “Energy: Materials and batteries “.
Just as personnel ICMCB took responsibilities in structuring research, they hold loads in training :
- Direction de l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie, Biologie et Physique (ENSCBP-IPB) (-2014)
- Direction des études et directeur-adjoint à l’ENSCBP-IPB (-2014)
- Direction du Master de Chimie de l’Université de Bordeaux
- Direction de la formation des LabEx AMADEUS et STORE-EX, du cluster LAPHIA
- Création et responsabilité de nombreuses Unités d’Enseignement en Licence et Master de Chimie, à l’IUT (Université de Bordeaux) et à l’ENSCBP-IPB
The ICMCB has been instrumental in the setting up and taking an active part in the operation of international training programs:
- European Master FAME on multifuncitonal materials
- Master international MILMI on laser materials and photonics
- École Doctorale Internationale IDS-FunMat sur les matériaux multifonctionnels
- Double diplôme de Doctorat avec l’Université de Darmstadt (Allemagne)
- Co-supervision of theses with : l’Allemagne, la Belgique, le Portugal, l’Espagne, les USA, l’Australie, le Canada, la Tunisie, le Maroc, le Liban (Regular interventions in basic training : USA, Tunisie, Liban)
CNRS researchers and engineers actively involved in many basic and advanced training (summer schools, in-house training sessions at CNRS, continuing education in industry).
